SQL Database Administrator

Tribeka Ltd. is a world leader in on demand manufacturing of digital products (software, audio books, DVD movie) in retail. We are a small but expanding technology driven company based in Vauxhall, central London, with worldwide installations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall security, performance, integrity, availability, configuration, data exchange and reporting of data on our SQL Server 2008, 2005, 2000 and Express databases.

Tribeka's DBA reports to the VP of Infrastructure and Technology

Experience and skill requirement:
  • Good, proven production DBA skills like : performance tuning, maintenance planning, system security and availability.
  • Very good T-SQL skills
  • Installation and configuration of SQL server 2008/Express, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS)
  • SSRS report creation
  • SSIS package creation and job management

IT Support / Installation Engineer

Tribeka Ltd. is a world leader in on demand manufacturing of digital products (software, audio books, DVD movie) in retail. We are a small but expanding technology driven company based in Vauxhall, central London, with worldwide installations.

The role encompasses on-site installations, support and maintenance of bespoke systems. International travel is pre-requisite for some of the on-site work. Additionally, standby support outside of office hours is performed on a rota basis. You will report directly to the Technical Services & Support Manager and be part of a larger engineering team.

Requirements:
  • Fluent French
  • Commercial experience in 2nd and 3rd line support, ideally supporting retail clients
  • A + (or equivalent)
  • Installing networked computer systems, according to pre-defined deadlines
  • Experience in Windows support, configuration and installation – e.g. Server 2003-2008 and/or Windows XP –Win7
  • Valid, clean driver’s licence
Desirable experience:
  • Working with CISCO routers
  • Installation of customer facing retail systems
  • Administrative task completion to meet SLA’s
  • Out of hours support
  • European language skills (not English)

.NET Junior/Graduate Software Engineer Wizard

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the further development of SoftWide and will have the opportunity to be involved in the commercialisation of a highly innovative, and potentially disruptive, technology.

SoftWide uses Microsoft technologies: C# .NET windows and web services, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services. The candidate will report directly to the VP of Development and be part of an expanding engineering team.

Responsibilities:
  • Software Development: Create quality C# code. Build software in an N-Tier environment, including windows services, WCF services and WPF applications. Integrate with third party software for product manufacture. Integrate with retailer systems.
  • Software Design: Participate in design of new functionality for SoftWide using appropriate technology and patterns.
  • Maintenance and support: Maintain SoftWide system and applications. Provide development support to internal retail support teams.
  • Client facing: Interact with Retailer and Publisher technical and commercial teams, both on site and remotely.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain appropriate levels of documentation.
Candidates must have experience with (graduate projects accepted):
  • C# .NET
  • Visual Studio 2008
  • T-SQL and SQL Server
  • Windows or Web Services (ASP.NET web development is not sufficient)

The role encompasses designing and implementing appropriate and scalable network configurations to deliver the SoftWide platform services on a mixed customer estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving on existing network infrastructure and security.

You will report directly to the VP of Infrastructure and Technology

Key elements of the role will include responsibilities for:
  • Corporate Networking Infrastructure
  • Client network integration
