Stephen Precious, Tribeka COO, talked to leading entertainment industry figures about “Meeting the Content Distribution Needs of the Traditional Retailer”. He explained high street retailers are starting to adapt their business approach to remain active in entertainment content distribution. As demand patterns and consumption habits continue to evolve and content owners increasingly focus their attention on alternative routes to revenue generation, radical measures are needed. Retailers are engaging customers in new ways in order to maintain a foothold in the entertainment business.
MESA also asked Tribeka to demonstrate their solutions for bringing digital content into physical retail stores and to their customers accounting for almost 80% market share of entertainment product sales.
On 7 December, Carrefour launched its International Store of the Future in Mons, Belgium. Carrefour is using Tribeka’s upgraded SoftWide system as an integral part of its Entertainment proposition and the system now a full range of Entertainment products both physically and digitally.
Building on Carrefour’s very successful delivery of software through SoftWide to its major Belgian hypermarkets for the last 5 years, Carrefour customers are now able to select from a range of games, music, TV content and movies titles that is expected to grow over time. This installation also seamlessly integrates Tribeka’s digital card technology, which offers 1,000’s of cards and can manufacture 100’s of cards an hour in as little as 20 seconds each.
Carrefour has included Tribeka’s technology in its short CAP2020 International publicity video showing how important this initiative is to them.

Supplytech's distribution centre will have capabilities to produce music, movies, software and games on a variety of media including disc, gift cards and greeting cards.

Installation of our latest on demand activation card system In partnership with Phoenix Distribution
We are very pleased to announce the installation of our latest on demand activation card system. In partnership with Phoenix Distribution this is our first Distribution Centre version and is built to manufacture 30,000+ cards a month in its basic form. The system is also designed to track cards by retailer for year two revenue share as well.
